Everything is just peachy!

It was at Brampton's 18 month wellness visit that we voiced our concerns about his speech...remember this...this...and this? Oh man...I have ill feelings when reading those old posts. Those sure were rough times for our little family! Well. Our little Cardston had us worrying there for a bit too. We voiced our concerns at his 18 month wellness visit and they referred us to ECI (Early Childhood Intervention) once again. We had his evaluation a couple of weeks ago and the little man passed! Yay! We figured this would be the case because Cardston really started talking over Christmas. Two therapists came out for the eval. and tested him using the DAYC and clinical observation.
And here is where my lil' guy stands in the following areas
at 19 months old...
cognition-20 months
communication-18 months
motor-18 months
social emotional-27 months
adaptive/self help-29 months
No speech therapy for this scrumptious boy!

What a stud. I can just picture him with the same expressions in his high school graduation photos. HOTTIE is what we called them in high school.

So glad to hear things are good for that little guy... I'm amazed they can test for all that at that age... We love you guys!

That is great news! I've been meaning to talk to you about some concerns I have with Gaven and his language development. I don't know if Cass told you or not, but we're headed down to Galveston for Mardi Gras weekend (Feb 6th) and we'd love to see you and the fam. We're planning to go to the firetruck parade on Sat. the 6th, maybe we can all get together.
