DAY SIX: COZUMEL, MEXICO
On day six, we arrived at beautiful Cozumel, Mexico. I love this place. The water is gorgeous everywhere and the beaches are fabulous. We planned on snorkeling in Cozumel because we had done this previously and LOVED it! But mother nature put a damper on our plans.
Our ship was one of three cruise ships there that day!
The water doesn't get much better than that.
Ev holding up SIX...it was six years ago that we went to Cozumel and promised that we would return.
We did more shopping and came across this cool pirate! I had to get a picture with him. As we were taking the picture, he said QUESO. I chuckled quite a bit. I can only imagine how HOT he was in that get-up.
...more shopping and picture taking as we waited for our excursion to start... And then this happened. LOTS OF RAIN...LIGHTNING...and...THUNDER. Bummer. They cancelled all remaining excursions due to weather.
I was a little bummed...hence the pouty face. Stinkin' rain.
No worries. I happened to find a ZERO and was much happier. Thank you RON JON SURF SHOP.
We came back to the boat...worked out...picked up some food and took HOT CHOCOLATE to our room and watched OPRAH! ha.
Dinner that night was fabulous. We enjoyed our second to last evening with the BEST waiters in the WORLD...danced...laughed...magic tricks...and snapped a picture with them.
Ev and I both ordered filet mignon
us and the guys...Made is from Indonesia and Rex is from the Philippines. Both were outstanding. These guys work 7 months on the ship and then have 3 months off! Talk about WOW.
The towel creation for the day...we couldn't figure out what it was...maybe a rabbit?
And to finish the evening, we enjoyed some music by our favorite...MANILA and then headed to the nightly SHOW.
