DAY FOUR: Jamaica
We arrived in Jamaica at about 9:00 am. We woke-up early so that we could enjoy a nice breakfast in the Monet Dining room while watching the boat come up to the land. Notice the hand sanitizer next to Ev...these were all over in the buffet area and at the entrance of the dining rooms. Just another reason to love Carnival!
Getting off the ship!
Ev taking time to chill with some locals
our excursion for the day...hiking the Dunn River Falls
We traveled by bus to Ocho Rios. This was a 2 hour ride there and back, so we spent 4 hours of our day just driving. Let's just say we were able to see LOTS of Jamaica. And plenty. I think Jamaica was my least favorite port of call. The water is beautiful and the people are pretty funny (most of the time...when they're not begging for money). I love their accents and the "chill" atmosphere. Jamaica Jamaica...what can I say? My heart truly goes out to you!
Our tour guide Karisha.
Climbing the falls was SWEET! But boy it was quite a challenge.
Yay! We made it to the top without slipping or falling....but we did have some sore feet and blisters from the water socks.
After the falls we headed to the city center for some shopping.
And we had this funny little lady ask us to take her picture
Some Jamaican marching band performing at the ship
Another highlight of the day...warm chocolate melting cake on the deck while watching High School Musical 3 on the big screen!!
I heart Zac (ok...not really...but I do like the show)
And don't worry, we did plenty of eating too even though there are no pictures...as a result...the pregnant look!
Nothing better than coming back to this after a very exciting, long day...
and a mr. elnant too (as Brampton would say)

You had a pillow under your shirt, right? I do not even buy that you can make your belly stick out that far. Please. Although you are making me proud with the 2 desserts per night :-)

That is mad talent skills if you can really poke your belly out like that! You literally looked prego! And I laughed out loud when I read that you plowed over some lady when the stingray came close! So hilarious!
