Today was Ev's first day back at school...which means a full day with two kids all by myself. It actually went by really fast and we had a lot of fun together...just me and my two boys! I love it. I have the best job in the world!!! We went for a little jog this morning and I thought I would snap some pics of all the "cool" things we saw. Really it's not cool...but interesting to see nonetheless. I have to say that the beaches are actually all clean. The water is beautiful too (it's actually somewhat clear).
Those little posts are all that's left of the oh so famous Hooters. Yay...that stupid place is gone!

Yes...that's a mattress, sleeping bag, and pillows. Sad.
Slowly but surely....progress is being made!

wow, crazy. i'm glad you posted pictures from a firsthand "local" point of view. must be so crazy to go back and live there. but i'm so so glad your apartment was okay!!! (lol consider this comment assigned to like your last three posts :)
I love that Cardston has this huge grin in the background! So cute! Thanks for the update with Brampton. I have wondered how he's doing. YOU are doing a great job. Keep it up.
Crazy pics! That mattress one made me sad. Sure makes you grateful for what you do have! Cute cute pictures of the boys! They look so comfy in their stroller. Love the stroller by the way, I've never seen it!
Cardston looks really tall in the first picture. His legs look really long. He is getting so big and I haven't even seen him. Kendall and I can't wait to see you guys. We are constantly trying to think of other options of getting to Texas that don't cost a fortune or a tone of time. Sometimes we joke that we will just fly there for a weekend no matter what the cost. We miss the family so much.
