Barry the bee as a monkey

Brampton loves this Bee! It was a toy out of a McDonald's happy meal last year. It has been his best friend for a long time! Somehow, Barry was left at home during the evacuation. Sad. Lets just say that Brampton has enjoyed having him back. Today, Brampton told me that Barry was being a monkey...hence him hanging from the blinds. I laughed. My son is funny and oh so creative in his own little ways. Look at that big smile...actually...only I would know that he is trying to say CHEESE.

A little bit about this little boy....
*Brampton is such a picky eater. I can't get him to eat anything most days. It's a constant battle. I do have to say that today, he ate 4 mini waffles for breakfast and quite a few popcorn chicken for lunch. Yes I know...not the healthiest meals. But I am working on it, trust me. Dinner was a struggle.
*After tons of doctor appointments and evaluations, Brampton has been diagnosed with a speech delay. We have seen every kind of doctor possible. All with their own opinion. With each visit, my poor boy would become a little guinea pig. Testing...testing...and more testing. It was so hard for me to watch as his mother. Brampton hated it. But in the end...I wanted what was best for my child. I am grateful to know that through MUCH needed therapy, Brampton will be able to communicate. He still says no words. He does sign. He is great at signing! I love it. Many of his signs are unique...they are his own interpretations. I love to watch him communicate using multiple signs in a row. I especially love to see his cute little hands in action. It's precious to me.

He is a cutie! I wish we had ever actually met him. . . Someday. . . PS I am jealous that you have a double jogging stroller.

That is so funny that he did that with Barry, it made me laugh. Amazing what these kids come up with sometimes! Thank you for the update, been meaning to ask you and kept forgetting. Have I mentioned I think I'm losing brain cells. I can't remember anything anymore!

I'm so glad that he is able to communicate with you and that ASL exists. I work with so many kids that have speech delays and ASL is such a blessing!
