I feel like I haven't posted recent pictures of us...meaning the kids, but then again my previous post had quite a few. I guess I feel that way b/c I haven't taken pictures in a week or so. Our rechargeable battery died and we failed to pack the charger before evacuating. Luckily...Evan made a trip to Galveston today (new pics coming soon). He was able to fly down early this morning and returned this evening (thanks be to David). We really have wanted to go back and help so many of our friends who have lost so much. It's pretty hard when you have to nurse a baby every 3 hours...to be honest I wouldn't even consider taking my little boy and baby back there...at least not yet. So Evan went for the both of us. Thanks to the Sheffield's for taking such good care of him. About 600 members from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from the Houston and Dallas areas went down to help clean up both today and tomorrow. Isn't that just amazing? Evan said it was so neat to see everyone unite in trying to help one another. He said that member volunteers were such hard workers...once they got a job done they moved on to others in need. They not only served the families in our ward, but everyone in need. Way to go team YELLOW! If you want to check out our ward blog...go here. You can learn more about the LDS Church here.

We took such good care of him...
like when we let him take us out to lunch, and when we let him clean out our house, or when we let him open your home to us. Yeah, we're the best ;)
We look forward to seeing the whole Stout family back on the island (and having the island clean enough for that!)
