We went to Kemah last Friday to see what all the talk was about. We have heard so many good things about this place. Andrea Fronk really got us going when she and Ashira told Evan about the cool train. We knew we had to take Brampton. He loves trains! We ended up loving this place. It has such a fun atmosphere. There are just way too many fun things to do in one day...we were only there for an hour or so. Brampton was super grumpy (except while on the train). We figure we'll go back when we have some visitors! (Yes....that means you.)

You can even feed the fish! They go crazy. Look at all of them.
Here's the train! The neat thing about this place is that everything is pretty well priced....at least the rides were. Not sure about the food. They do sell sausage on a stick. After reading about barbecued sausage on Brian and Angela's blog...I really wanted to try it. Maybe next time. It was only $3.50/person to ride on the train. There is also an aquarium that I want to take Brampton to...they let you feed stingrays there. It looked like fun.

At least my other boy was happy! He's always happy. Thank goodness. I don't think I could handle TWO grumpy boys.

So I was at Kemah about a month ago!! How crazy is that? It was pretty fun. Our trip was really quick, but next time we come down I'll definitely let you know!!

we love it too! next time we should go, when it's cooler and the school kids are back in school...and you have a car! i think sometimes kids warm up to a place once they've been there once or twice.
Your family adventure looked like a lot of fun. I know Haydn would have LOVED it!!!
I have to admit I really love how much Brampton hated taking pics. It's makes him all the cuter!
