Special Visitors!

Grandpa and Grandma Stout came and visited this past weekend! We had so much fun. We always love visitors in our house. It's nice to get away from our everyday routine and have some fun. Speaking of fun...we had a blast! Brampton sure loved having them here. He kept both of them busy and on their toes. Some of the things we did were...color...play cars...watch Happy Feet (Brampton's fav at the moment)...talked...walked around Moody Gardens...played at the park...ate yummy food...toured the sea turtle hatchery...Rainforest Cafe adventure ride (super fun...if you live in the area you should go on this for sure!)...watched movies...and just enjoyed being together. We do have to say thanks to you two for watching the boys and letting Evan and I have a date night! It was very much needed. Thank you.
Grandpa and the three boys! Yes...Mr. Elephant is very much apart of the family.

Cardston talking it up with Grandma. She's always so good at getting my boys to talk! It's cute.
And I finally learned how to make these! So yummy. Evan's mom makes the best spring rolls.
Lastly...my little boy has become quite the talker. He is also full of smiles. I have the hardest time capturing it on camera...the lighting is horrible...but I think his little face is so cute.

I can't believe how fast he is growing! What a cutie! And thank heavens for Grandmas and Grandpas! I think we should have more than just two!

Mr. Elephant!

Cardston does seem to be full of smiles. I also hear he's the most well-behaved CTR 5 member.

That's so fun that you were able to have more family there! Having visitors is the best.
You may need to post the recipe to those spring rolls too! I'm craving one right now.

p.s. You're so sweet! I totally remember being over at Carli's too, although I'd somehow forgotten until you brought it up! Such good times!

Oh so cute! Cardston is growing really fast! They start getting such cute little personalities! It is so nice to have the grandparents come help! I'm glad you got to go on a date, that helps so much and is so nice!
Hope you're enduring the heat!

Gotta love visits from the grandparents. They make being a parent a little bit more bearable. Last night when I was in bed reading I thought of another memory with you. It was at Youth Conference and it was the year we went and did a carnival type thing with some special needs people. You and I were with this girl/lady that would say "We're off to see the lizard!" And then she would be like on no that's not it it's wizard! That was one of my favorite Youth Conferences, those individuals have such a sweet special spirit with them.

Grandparents are so fun! The other day my mom got Annie smiling and giggling like I've never seen her and of course just then I couldn't get our video camera to work. Their smiles can be so elusive whenever the camera is around. I love the picture of Cardston smiling :)
