Doctor Visit #3: Audiologist

This week was filled with doctors appointments! That always makes for an adventure. On Monday, I had my own check up to see how the baby is doing. You would think that for a 5 minute visit with the doctor that I would be in and out (at least I did). Wrong. They had me wait there for 3 hours! No joke. My appointment was for 4:15 pm. Of course, I arrived a little early (3:45)...to make sure I could get back asap. But I didn't get called back until 5:30 pm. Oh my goodness...I thought they had forgotten about me...I went back and had to wait for another hour. On to Brampton...he had his hearing tested on Wednesday. We were super excited to have this done. They said that he passed...although...I am not sure how they determined that. He was not being very cooperative. And how do you test a child that doesn't talk?? I was there while they did all their testing on him. Lets just say that as his mom, I couldn't even see him respond to the different sounds. How could they? At the end, they told me I could have him tested again when he's a little older. That made me laugh!!
