We had two really bad scares this week (at least to us).
First, I made Brampton a peanut butter sandwich thinking he would be fine. Not even 5 minutes after he was done did he have start to have allergy symptoms! It was pretty scary. His eyes turned red and itchy. He had spots all around his lips and he would stick his tongue out and bite it. We figured that it was probably swelling. Which led us to believe that maybe he had swelling inside his mouth and throat. He even started to breathe a little funny and we just about went to the ER. Luckily, a much needed blessing helped him pull through!!!
Our second scare came this afternoon...even worse than the first. I was cooking dinner and Evan was on the computer. We had put Brampton down for a very late nap. Evan heard a thump and I heard Brampton's serious cry! We both rushed in and found him on the floor. He had fallen from his crib!!! We were both nervous b/c I put him down to walk and he fell. He continued to fall and not use his right leg (limp). We thought he had broken something. However, the little dude pulled through and was even dancing 2 minutes after the event! We put him back in the crib to see if he would show us how he did it. Sure enough...he started to lift his leg up over the bar. We assume he fell from the top. Boy...this is just the beginning...I can't imagine what else is going to come our way (I try not to think about that)!!!
So...thankfully nothing too serious!

Wow! You guys had an eventful day! The peanut butter thing is really scary! I would have been on the phone with 911 asap! He's so little he wouldn't have been able to tell you if his throat was swelling up. Poor little man:( And falling from the crib, josh did that several times too and it is so sad thinking what could have happened if he fell head first or something. SO scary. I'm glad everything is ok though. I'm sure he loved the extra loving you guys have been giving him:) He's so cute. Way to be tough Brampton!
WOW!! Super Scary! I am glad that he is okay. Man, is this what I get to look forward to?!?!? Now I am really worried!!
I'm SO sorry, I'm glad everything turned out to be okay. It's easy to get very worried for your kids. My sister has one with a peanut allergy, and I don't envy the road ahead of you!
