I can't believe I am in my third trimester with these babies!! This pregnancy really has flown by (even though at times I feel like I'm never going to have these girls)....only because our family has been all over Texas and Kansas....which helps to pass the time. And I have hardly even blogged about it. I will have to say that this pregnancy has been much harder than my two singleton pregnancies. As you can imagine. It's double everything!! I can hardly wait to get these girls out of me. Don't get me wrong...I want them to be healthy and ready to enter the world, but I would love to be able to breath again. Or better yet, walk again...normally...without swelling. And I do miss being able to sleep on my stomach...or even getting some sleep. I do believe that I have finally reached the uncomfortable/horrible stage. But it's do able and I'm trying to be tough. I mean come on...it's not like I'm having quadruplets or anything!
I realize that I can't do this on my own. I pray daily for added strength and energy. I pray for these two little girls that they would be healthy as they continue to grow. And I always ask for help as I struggle with the pain that seems to increase daily now-a-days. And I know that these prayers are answered. I can't even begin to explain how grateful I am for this...for a loving Heavenly Father that hears my prayers and answers them.
Now, just to answer some of your questions about the twins:
Twins do run on my father's side (Payzant).
We are having two girls.
Payton and Brooklynn.
They are due on February 22, 2011 (but my doctor isn't going to let me go past Feb. 14).
I'm hoping to at least carry them to 35 weeks.
They are fraternal.
Each girl is in her own sac and has her own placenta.
They are right on track as far as size goes...2.5 pounds each/15 inches long.
AND
Did you realize that b/c of this...we have to buy BIGGER car??
Yes...
this is the most expensive pregnancy for us thus far. Double everything, remember?
But we love it and wouldn't have it any other way!!!
