well fed.

I will never forget TONIGHT! Both my boys actually ate what I made for dinner...chicken pot pie. THIS never happens around here. I usually end up making about 3 different meals to please my boys...like ramen (their current favorite) or two pieces of bread with a slice of cheese. Horrible, I know. Have I mentioned I have one of the PICKIEST eaters ever?!! It's wearing me out! But tonight was a blessing from up above (LITERALLY), I felt like a real mom as they ate! A smart mom...one who has every single food group present on the table. A healthy mom...one who prepares meals/sides with lots of color. And I have to admit, one PROUD mom! I was smiling from ear to ear. Cardston kept saying "mmm". And Brampton was proud of himself too...he'd show me every bite.
For once, my children went to bed well fed!
Ah...this feels good.
**please feel free to share meals your children eat with me, I need some help**

I talked to my pediatrician about Landen's picky eating habits, and he told me not to give him anything between meals, except water if he wants it, and just fix him what we eat. I was really skeptical at first because he's so skinny to begin with I didn't want him to lose weight! But, I've been amazed! I'm sure you've heard the saying, they'll eat when they're hungry enough...so true! Landen ate Tilapia the other night...TILAPIA! Who would have guessed! It's so hard with kids though, because they'll like something one day, then change their minds the next. I just keep giving him lots of food/options on his plate, and he eats what he wants! Don't know if this helps, and sorry it took so long. Oh, and I might need that recipe ;)

Ya, i never have more than one person like what I fix. Including Brandon! ;) My girls seem to like casseroles with ground beef in them best. . . not sure why?

I totally know what you mean! Bridget was such a great eater with baby food, but now I never know if she will eat what I give her or not. Days vary depending on her teeth, mood, ect. When she will eat a veggie, fruit, and meat for a meal I feel like a good mom too, isn't that funny?

P.S. I sent you an e-mail :)
