The boys were playing with Transformers this morning and I decided to watch a little bit of the Olympic coverage on the Today Show while checking my email/google reader/facebook. After some time, I put the laptop away and turned off the TV. Brampton turned to me and said, "what happened mom??? Is your show over?" I told him, "No it's not over, but YOU'RE more important". I gave him a hug while his little fingers were busy trying to transform his tank into a robot. And he told me, "ya I more portant cuz I want to be a misonary (missionary) in Africa!" I looked at him. SMILED.
And told him..."well we better get to work".

...and—while with some kids, it's not possible to measure early on—it's pretty clear via your boys that you're doing great at your job.
(Kristin and I are taking notes on your family)
What, where does he get this stuff?!! What a funny little dude! And so so cute!
How cute!
That is the sweetest thing ever!!! Andrew served in Africa! So Brampton is Andrew's kinda boy! ;)
That is awesome! So cute that he said that! Very priceless!
How cute! Congrats on Brampton being potty trained. I also enjoyed your 19 month check up post. Kudos to you and Evan for your hard work and effort to make sure your little boy is up to speed. That truly is awesome!
