Visiting with Santa

We spent weeks asking Brampton if he wanted to go see Santa this year and every time he firmly said, "NO, I don't." I figured this would be the case especially after the past 3 years of crying Santa visits and our latest visit to meet Ronald McDonald. I will admit...Santa is kind of scary...especially when you are little. I just assumed this year would be one of those years we wouldn't get a picture with Santa. But then...I think something must have clicked for Brampton. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I kept telling him he had to see Santa or he wouldn't get any presents from him. I mean come on...how is Santa suppose to know what you want for Christmas if you don't tell him? Shortly before we were to leave for Fort Worth, we were at Walmart and out of no where Brampton shouts out to me that he wanted to go to Moody Gardens and see Santa! I almost wet my pants! What? So visit Santa is what we did!!
Moody Gardens is magical this time of year! THIS is something that will for sure be MISSED once we leave Galveston.
Brampton was so BRAVE. He was definitely NERVOUS. And I assumed he would back out as soon as he saw Santa. But like always...he shocked me....and did the opposite. He walked right up and sat on his lap! Way to go Brampton. Now, Cardston...that's a different story. Maybe we'll get him in the picture next year.
I know trains are a "boy thing" and all boys love them...but mine are obsessed! We ended the night riding this cute little train through all the light displays. The boys were in HEAVEN...as you can tell by the following pictures.
Brampton has already requested to do this again next year. But instead of riding in the yellow train, he wants to ride in the green one!
