Yesterday, Evan and I couldn't take the chaos any longer. So we loaded the boys + Jackson (
lil boy I watch) in the car and ran some errands. The weather was beautiful and we had the windows down. The boys were enjoying themselves and the view of the ocean. And Evan and I were just able to chat. I love times like these. And for a moment, I started to ponder on the upcoming holiday. I thought about the blessings in my life and what it is that I am truly thankful for. I decided to ask Brampton the same question just to see what his response would be. Little did I know this boy of mine would take my breath away by his sweet reply. It went something like this...
me: Brampton what are you thankful for? ....What do you like a lot?
ev: What do you love?
...about 40 seconds pass...
brampton: Jesus.
I was in total shock that he would come up with such an answer. I assumed he would say something like soccer balls (all he wants for Christmas). I felt the Spirit immediately and started to get emotional. This boy is so pure and innocent. I love him. I too am thankful for Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He is my Savior. Thank you Brampton for reminding me of this.
