Falling for FALL!

This is my absolute favorite time of the year! I love fall! It all starts with my birthday in September...Halloween...Ev's birthday in November...Thanksgiving....and then Christmas! Along with all the many other happenings that seem to make the holidays a little crazy. Ah...talk about exciting times. Anyways, today in Galveston it is beginning to feel a lot like FALL! It's a nice and cool 63 degrees (this week it's been in the high 80's). AND I LOVE IT! So to celebrate...here's a look at our fall/Halloween decor (which helps to remind us that it is actually OCTOBER, not JULY). Sadly there's very little to show because most of them were ruined....thanks to hurricane Ike.
My latest project as of yesterday afternoon. I found THIS idea on one of my idols blogs. Of course, hers puts mine to shame...but I do enjoy my new little banners that seem to add so much to our living room. I made TWO.
Brampton's favorite...the pumpkin lights...which can be found glowing all day long...much to his delight.
My beautiful wreath which often gets mistaken for candy. Hence the previously red/orange berries that are now white.
Last but not least, my cheapest decoration of all time and quite possibly my FAVORITE....a white paper with orange scribbles all over it.
