The very much anticipated day is finally here! Ev left bright and early this morning to go take Step 1 of Boards. He has been preparing for this day for a very long time. I have been amazed at his motivation and determination to keep going and to hit the books everyday for the past 2 months to prepare for this beast. There were a couple of days that he studied for 12 hours straight. He has NEVER studied this much! In the end, he took over 9,000 practice questions and went through the stinkin' USMLE book over 4 times. And get this...he never complained about it ONCE. He's pretty much AMAZING to ME. Now, I am in no way nervous for Ev. He has always been a great student and an even better test taker. I think it's one of his many talents! I know he'll do just fine.So...here's to hoping that tOdAy passes quickly and that my husband doesn't have a migraine when he gets home!

That's wonderful. I know you guys must be looking forward to the weekend! I am studying for an insurance exam that I have to take for my job. I can't tell you how many times I have complained about it. How does he stay away from complaining? Go him!! Happy 4th to you all!
