For Family Home Evening last night we talked all about temples and for our activity we built one out of sugar cubes and Ev made us our own little "
nanoni" (Moroni) out of foil. Brampton loves to look at pictures of temples and is pretty quick to point out the statue of the Angel Moroni. He has also become very aware of his surroundings (while driving in the car) and calls every spire, cross, statue etc. on any church a "
nanoni". There is one in particular on top of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (on Broadway) that he always spots and says "a
nanoni mom, a
nanoni". I just can't break it to him that it's actually not a true Moroni.

That's just about the coolest family home evening ever! And your husband is talented! Holy Cow that looks real!!! We're gonna have to try that one, but I don't know if our Moroni will ever measure up! So cute!
I agree with Robin... what a great idea! We, too, will try that sometime, I think the boys would love it... heck, we might just have as much fun as them. I love it when they have their own little pronunciations! They're so cute sometimes you don't want to correct them, and even get sad when they figure out the "right" way to say it!
That's so cute, where did you get that idea?!
