Being that Brampton turns 3 tomorrow, he is officially done receiving services from ECI. No more speech therapy at home from Julie (darn!). He now will be going to a real school for therapy. Brampton is a funny boy. He loves being at home! It takes much bribing on my part to get him out of the house. This morning I had to tell him that we were going to see a real school bus in order to get him dressed and ready. He was really excited and did not fight me one bit! Thank heavens. He talked about the school bus the whole way there and even told Cardston about it too. Unfortunately, there was no school bus in the parking lot, but he quickly forgot all about it after walking into the building and seeing all of the other children.
Brampton now goes to speech on Tuesday and Friday of each week for 30 minutes. He also has therapy with another little boy named Kyle. His speech therapist at the school, Mrs. Monson, is so sweet. And Brampton seemed to just love her after the session. I was a little nervous as to how he would do when it came time for him to leave my side. But as soon as Kyle got up to leave his mom, Brampton gladly jumped off his seat and ran to Kyle's side with a big smile. It was the cutest thing ever. And he walked down the hall and out of my sight. He is getting to be too grown up! My favorite part was to see him come back to me after therapy. He was so happy, full of life and could hardly wait to tell me all about the cute duck he made with Mrs. Monson.
***Mrs. Monson said that he did GREAT! She was surprised by the amount of signing he does and how much he understands.

Wow! I am so glad that he did so well! Isn't that the hardest thing ever? You are SO proud of them for being independent, but at the same time your heart is breaking because they are growing up and leaving you and. . . oh, my gosh-- I have gotten so mushy!!! ;0)
That's so awesome!!! I can't believe he's going to school, they're growing up too fast!! I can't handle it!
