I'm going to blame the lack of posts on the fact that it is test week around our house. Ev has two tests this week and also has Step 1 of Boards this summer. He spent the week studying way more than usual. Which left me a busy woman...almost husband less. Nothing super eventful has been going on. Although, we do have TWO birthdays coming up. We're trying to get ready for the big 3 year old party we're having this week (still can't believe he's going to be 3)!
Both the boys are sick with colds. Don't you just love the colds that make your kids sneeze all the time!? Cardston has mastered blowing his nose (which is fun to watch...he can make some pretty cool snot bubbles). I think he hates having a stuffy nose so much that he taught himself how to get it out. Except he always makes a huge mess with it and wipes it all over his face, hair, and any other object in site. That other object is usually me or my just washed couches! I feel like I have become a tissue. I am covered in dried snot by the end of the day. It's gross. Brampton on the other hand HATES snot. He freaks out when he sneezes. He will not touch it and waits really still and patiently to wipe it off. Easy clean up for me! Both of them have had fevers all day yesterday which was accompanied with crazy whining (unfortunately for me, the mute button didn't work). Brampton always has problems breathing when he gets sick, so we have been doing lots of breathing treatments. I too have been feeling under the weather (no surprise). And I wonder...who is going to take care of me??? Oh wait...moms never have sick days.
After a very long day, Ev and I were talking before going to bed and he said..."you look bad. I mean you look tired, sad, depressed, sick and worn out." Good job love...you guessed it right (except for the depressed part)! Even though I dislike test time...it truly humbles me! It makes me realize how much I appreciate having Ev's help around the house. I am so in love with you Ev. You give me great strength even when you are not near me. Here's to acing those tests...for me please!

Kudos for having taking care of sick kids! :) We definitely missed you at church today.
That was very sweet at the end! I hope your boys (and you) get well SOON!!!!!
Aw, I feel your pain! Wonder if we had the same source of infection . . . :-) Let me know if ya need anything, seriously!!!
Hope you and the kiddo's get feeling better soon and hope the hubby's tests go well too so you can have him back! ;) Home life is more stressful and hard when the husband is "occupied" with work or whatever they have to do. It definatly puts a strain on the family and mom! Hope you get some good rest!
I agree, moms never get a sick day! Mom told me about Cardston and the snot thing, I'm sorry, I hate that too! Hope you guys get to feeling better!
Good Luck Evan!!
