Black Friday...where do I even begin? Well this is a tradition that Evan and I have started since we have been married. We love going out early the day after Thanksgiving. Not so much for the deals (I am not much of a bargain shopper...ask Ev)...although they are great!!! Really we enjoy the excitement, mad rush and the competition. My favorite part is running around trying to beat everyone to the "hot" items. Anyways....this year our plan was to hit up Kohls, Walmart, and Target. We had quite the team...Ev's mom, his sister Angie and the two of us. We didn't head for bed until after 1:00 am. We were too busy discussing our plans! Cardston woke up at 1:30 am and was up for an hour. I fed him at 2:30 am. I laid in the bed 'til 3:00am. I think I got about 20 minutes of shut eye. I got up and did the "bathroom stuff" and we were on our way. To keep it short and sweet...
Kohls...crazy line...but pretty organized. We were able to get pretty much everything on our list.
Walmart...madness all around. Especially since they never closed for Thanksgiving. People were already in the store when we got there at 4:25 am.
Target...awesome! Evan and I were able to run right in at 6:00am when they opened. We raced around and got everything on our list in about 5 minutes.
GameStop...I didn't go...but I hear that it was a great hit!
Now...I can't share the deals...b/c that would give away Christmas presents. But this year's black Friday was the best ever (for us).
Being that none of the grand kids are going to be spending Christmas in Fort Worth, Grandma put together a little treasure hunt for the kids. These are some pictures waiting for the hunt to begin. The treasure was their Christmas presents. Such a cute idea and the kids loved it.
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Stout again for the fun Christmas gifts.

Way to go on your shopping! Your thanksgiving pics were cute too! Cardston is growing so fast, he is adorable! And I love the shot of Brampton smiling with his mommy! Very cute!
