Winter Nights

I have to start off by saying that Ev and I have finally figured out how to get Brampton to go to sleep on his own and it is WONDERFUL. Both boys are on the same schedule and go down for the night at 7pm. It's great! We are finally able to have some time together without kids. It has really been a treat. In the past, one of us has always had to lay next to Brampton until he fell asleep. It was taking over an hour at times. Really frustrating. Thanks to a lot of research online and a couple of crazy nights...things have calmed down and I think we are all really happy about this new change. Both of the boys are now in the same room and keep each other company.

The past couple of nights (after the kiddos are asleep), Ev and I have gone outside and just talked in the hammock together...it's so fun. I'll never forget the "your squishing my eye" picture!! Your funny love!
Spending time together is really therapeutic...you should try it.
We then put our Cocomotion to work. If you don't have one of these...put it on your Christmas list! It's the best.
Enjoying our hot chocolate with a good book!

Ev and I have started reading this together. We read the Christmas Shoes last year (this is the sequel). Such a good series. I think we might just watch the movies after we finish.

Thanks Evan! Happy Birthday Week to you.

I am so glad you guys have some time together! That is awesome! (However, if Cardston is sleeping all through the night already, I am spitting in your hot chocolate out of jealousy!!! ;o)

How fun! Glad you guys get some alone time together. Those moments are so nice. Don't get me wrong, I love the girls but after they go down for the night it's like a sigh of relief.

Halie has been telling me all about the cocomotion. She has one at work and we are soon going to have our own. I just thought it was cool that you guys have one! And what is this method that helped get the kids to sleep?

Do tell the 7pm bedtime secret! I want to enjoy a cup of cocoa at 7:05 too. :)
