So if you haven't heard...there's a hurricane in the Gulf. Hurricane Ike. And if you don't know we live on an island in the gulf...Galveston. If you look at the projected path, you'll see that the whole state of Texas is in the path of Ike. Just to be safe, we may leave tomorrow morning for Fort Worth (still not sure). Evan had mutual tonight, but they cancelled the activity and prepared the church building for the hurricane. I thought that was neat. Here in Galveston, they are closing UTMB (University of Texas Medical Branch) early Thursday afternoon and cancelling school on Friday. We are going to pack and board up the windows in the morning. We're hoping to beat the crazy traffic.

Hurricane Ike
