Our pediatrician is really on top of things. We just received a phone call from her with the results of the test. Come to find out...everything is ok! Cardston doesn't need to have the surgery. She did say that sometimes it's common for the sutures to overlap. That maybe what is causing the little ridge on his head. Thank you for all your sweet comments and prayers! We really appreciate them.

I know he's not my son, but I had a gut feeling it would be ok. I've just experienced with doctors sometimes they cover "too many bases" just to be safe. It's scary though being told about all the "what-ifs and could-bes". But I know the doctors are just trying to do their job too.

What a relief! I'm so glad for you guys, that must be a huge load off! And I keep looking at all the pictures and his head looks totally great and normal to me so that's good too :o)He's just too cute, both of your boys are!

Glad to her it was nothing, though I was expecting that was the case. As I mentioned before, both our boys had the same thing. Perhaps it's a Peterson trait? Jamie B did your boys have this when they were little?
No, we didn't have any problems like that. The only thing the doctors raise eyebrows at is about our kid's heads measuring so big, until they realize it's consistant, that everyone has big heads, etc. (they finally believe me that it is OK)...then they calm down again. Seriously...they have ALL been in the 90% for head size!!
