I need some sun...

...but I've been spending way too much time doing this!

But I can't help it...he's just too cute and I love cuddling close by him. These moments don't last for very long...they grow up too quickly. I try and take advantage. I have noticed that my little Cardston is quite the cuddle bug. I love it. Brampton was not at all. It's funny how different your kids can be. Anyway, he sleeps so much better when lying next to someone. However...I don't do this at night...that's a bad habit to start. Only at nap time.

We have been having some awesome storms lately. This is a picture Ev took...if only you could see the whole view...the clouds were so dark! We had quite the thunderstorm. Love them...I have to say the ones in Kansas are the best!!!!

Not too much has been going on with our family...besides the everyday kind of stuff. Ev has been busy observing and participating in different surgeries. At home, we have been enjoying yummy corn on the cob...eating artichokes...red box rentals...blogging...watching Signing Time...working on Brampton's "B" sound...going to ***Walmart (almost everyday it seems)...and creating memories that will last forever! Gotta love family. I sure love mine. I am so grateful for my AWESOME husband and two HANDSOME boys!!!

***Speaking of Walmart...the other night I went there for a QUICK trip to pick up a couple of items. Literally, I had a list of maybe 5 things (that we absolutely needed). It seems as though my visits can never be quick though. This time I did it! I got everything and headed to the registers. I have to be quick with Brampton. To my surprise...the lines were all the way to the back of the store! I kid you not! I just about died. Especially since my little one was super cranky (bedtime). Something I am learning: finding love for the tourists! If you ever come to Galveston...stay away from Walmart at night...and please do not fill up 3 carts full of stuff!!! It makes my trip to Walmart HORRIBLE!!!!! Just so you can feel sorry for me...I waited in line for an HOUR. How did I do it you ask (with Brampton)...I fed him gummy lifesavers (2 packs). I'm a horrible mom.

I love storms in KC. I have missed them. It calms me at night, I know weird. I hate lines especially with my kids. I have fed Tyler a bag of M&M's waiting in line before. I think that gummy bears are probably a bit better than pure chocolate.

What an adorable picture (first one)!!! You guys look so cute. I have the same thing. Ayva was never a cuddler but Cheyenne will. I love falling asleep with them.

Of course storms in Kansas are the best. Who goes out onto the deck in the middle of tornado sirens? And who takes his family out on a drive in the middle of a storm with the sirens going on? Kansas storms are the best!!!

Oh Wal-Mart, how we love you!! The things we do to keep our sanity at Wal-Mart!

Sorry about Walmart. I hate that store because of the lines!! I'd do the same with giving Brampton treats to make him happy. I LOVED taking naps with Carter. I agree, only nap time. I love cuddling with them! Take advantage of it. Love the new blog layout.

You and your baby look so cute sleeping in that picture! I love it. I totally miss KS thunderstorms! It seems like it rarely even thunders here in Utah and doesn't really storm much unless theres snow involved...it's a bummer!

Your not a horrible mom! You gotta do what you gotta do. I would have tried checking out at the jewlery counter or something. 1 hour in line sounds HORRIBLE.
