Whenever Cardston starts crying, Brampton runs right to his side. It's pretty cute (at least to me). He then usually lays on top of him to try and give him loves. That usually makes Cardston cry even more. But I know he's just trying to be a good big brother. In these pictures above, Cardston is naked b/c I went to get a new onsie for him. He started to cry and when I came back in the room, I found Brampton at his side with his hand on his tummy trying to make him feel better. So sweet! I am just loving these moments as a mother of two.
I can't believe how fast time is going by!! My little newborn is starting to look more like an infant everyday! I guess that's how it goes right...they can't be little forever. I just love babies!!! Cardston had his two week check up on Monday. His jaundice is now just on his face. We also noticed that he has pectus excavatum (a congenital deformity in which the sternum is depressed) like Brampton. But it's hardly noticeable. We just know b/c we have dealt with that once before. He now weighs 8 lbs 14 oz. For his weight he is in the 50 percentile. As for his head measurements...I can't remember that right off. But it was in the 75 percentile. He is 22 inches long...75 percentile. Overall, he's doing very well. He is nursing every 2-3 hrs during the day and once during the night (which always happens to be at 2:30 am). Silly kid. I'm not complaining though...more sleep for me.

He really is one adorable baby! And Brampton looks SO big now!! What a sweet big brother though. Cardston is a lucky little babe:)
Hope you are getting more on your feet everyday Steph. It's always an adjustment when a new one comes along, that's for sure!

So I come to get an update and you had the baby!! I had no idea you had him but I knew it was getting close!! What a cutie!! I just love little newborns!!
That's great about his sleeping! Pray for me that I'm that lucky the 2nd time around too! That is sweet about Brampton loving his brother so much. You give me hope for September.
