Our first poop experience!

It's probably a good thing I don't have any pictures for this next experience b/c it was horrible. Here it goes....Lately, whenever Brampton gets hurt we kiss his ouchies. If we don't see it happen he will come up to us and put whatever is hurt up to our mouth and do a little whine to let us know he needs a kiss to make it feel better. Well....this morning I was trying to get him fed, clean up messes, and get the both of us ready for story time at the library. I was busy on the computer (finally working on a new LO) and Brampton was working hard at making a huge mess. He climbed up on the chair behind me. I guess I was a little too into what I was doing b/c he stuck his hand in my face and did his whine. So naturally, I kissed it...only to feel wetness all over my mouth....which was then followed by his distinct poop smell!!! BLAH! Yuck. Poop all over my lips. I then realized that he was whining b/c he had nastiness (diarrhea) all over his hand! Poor kid was trying to tell me to change his diaper, I guess. How did I not smell it before I kissed it (especially since I am known to have a really sensitive nose)??? This was our first poop experience and it better be the last!!

Great story- sorry it had to be you! Just one of the many mommy moments to experience. Good thing you're getting this all down, although it may not be one you'll want to remember. =)

hahaha Okay, sorry I am laughing but that is the funniest story ever. Funny for me, not for you. I'm still laughing about it. :)
