I feel like we have been all over the place the past month! Boy...we are now back in Fort Worth visiting Grandma and Grandpa Stout (and uncles Sean and Kendall). Uncle Sean is leaving on his mission to Chile soon! We are super excited to be able to spend time with him for a few days!
Yesterday Brampton started to get really sick. He was having a really hard time breathing. His condition did not improve at all as the day went on...he didn't even respond to his breathing treatments. At 9 pm we decided to take him to the hospital! What a fun way to start off the new year!!!! We got there at 10 pm and didn't get home until 3 am. It was a long visit...but we just wanted him to get better. He was given steroids at the hospital and they did 3 breathing treatments on him. He did not improve too much...but did not get worse. They were going to admit him overnight, but the doctor was confident that he would get better. His breathing actually was a lot better by the time we left. He ended up being diagnosed with RSV (respiratory syncytial virus). He is doing a lot better today (thankgoodness)!

Well, that's no fun! Tyler had the same problem all the time when he was younger...(not that he's old or anything). We used to have one of those breathing machines. But on a positive note he hasn't had that problem in 2 years or so.
Oh you guys, I'm so sorry! I sure hope we didn't send you all off with our germs. I am glad he's doing better and continues to get better.
We had so much fun when you guys were here and Ayva misses Brampton. When she sees his pictures she gets all excited and you know what she's like when she gets excited. Sorry if we didn't do as much as you were hoping, I wish we lived closer, especially for family get togethers.

I'm impressed with how well he is sitting there during the breathing treatment! James would flip out, he was in the hospital for about week last year with RSV and Pneumonia. It's a scary thing to deal with. I am so glad he is getting better. Hopefully it won't be too much longer on the breathing treatments, that always made James get high and flip out. He didn't sleep while he was on it!
Yucky! I hope he makes it through okay! How scary to have your baby not be able to breath!!!
Oh my goodness Steph!!! I'm glad he's okay. THank goodness for modern day medicine, and aren't you glad you are around family when scary things like that happen? If I were alone I'd probably flip. I'm glad your Christmas went well. Can't wait to hang out!
Those pictures of Brampton wearing that breathing mask made me want to cry! Poor thing. I hope he's doing better. And I only have THREE weeks left. All I have to say is YIKES!!!!!
