Unfortunately, I don't have a picture to go along with this little story (I sure wish I did though). Yesterday, Brampton got into our file folder box that has all of our important documents and stuff. I guess he had fun because everything was spread all over our room. I was a little upset, but thought no big deal...it's a perfect time to organize it all. He went down for a nap and the organizing fun had begun. I was sure proud of how nice and organized it was by the time I finished. Well...silly me...I left it on the floor. Brampton woke up from his nap and of course had to pull stuff out again (while I was not looking). This time I was really upset. Let's just say that Brampton got in trouble. Poor kid. He stood there and watched me as I picked the stuff up...not sure how to act. He ran into the kitchen and started to cry (which is pretty normal these days with new teeth coming in). After a couple of seconds he came back and ran towards me. He put his arms around my neck and gave me a nice big and tight hug. He even laid his head on my shoulder! Oh it was so sweet. This was a first for him...he has never done this before. He continued to give me a hug for about a minute! I was in heaven!!!!! However, it made me feel horrible for getting so upset with him. What a good example of forgiveness. Wow!! Even though he can't speak...he definitely communicated with his hug! I love being a mom.
*I am in need of some suggestions from you MOMS out there that read our blog. How do you entertain your kids all day??? I need some new ideas! Please share.

The best thing I know is to have more kids! They are a lot better at entertaining each other than I am at entertaining them. Other than that. . .let's see. . .I try to have set days each week, like Monday we go to the library, Tuesday we have a friend over, Wednesday we go on an outing. One big event a day tuckers a kid out. This is getting long, maybe I'll email you!
Heather...thanks! Great idea. I have been trying to have one big, and fun thing a day! I'll have to stick to that.
Well I am still trying to figure that out too, but I am starting to compile a craft drawer for James. There are paints, crayons, lots of dollars stuff, the fuzzy pipe cleaners... Anyway, when I start to scrapbook or get involved with something I'll sit him down next to me and strip him down to his diaper so he can go hog wild and make art master pieces.
such a good idea...I bet he would love that!
