Exciting News!

Well...maybe it's just exciting to us, but we wanted to share. So we found an apartment in Galveston back in March. They are really nice! New everything!! On top of that...our view is the ocean and a lake! We also have an awesome pool.
Well...we put money down and it was guaranteed. The apartments are all being redone so they only have so many that are totally finished being remodeled. The apartment managers kept calling and telling us they had to change our apartment and what not. We weren't really sure as to what our status was. I called the apartments today and I'll fill you in on the details: first off, we get a 3rd floor apartment. Yeah! That means vaulted ceilings and a fireplace (not that we will need that). The 1st and 2nd floor apartments don't have these. On top of that, it's a corner apartment so we have more windows! Yes...I love light. And the great thing is...we get it all for the price of a 1st floor apartment b/c they changed our status so much!!!!!! We are very excited and relieved. Because Evan is a student at UTMB, they also give us an additional discount. We are getting quite the hookups!! Finally, things are working out for us.
